PROMOTIONS: 11th Annual Field Trip Day Game presented by Hot 94.1 FM and Kern Schools Federal Credit Union; all tickets are just $10 and businesspersons are invited to take a long lunch or skip work (we won't tell!) and enjoy a great game; Students will receive an educational booklet, a nutritious lunch, and the game will be chock full of educational games, activities, and messages

The Bakersfield Condors battle the Stockton Thunder for a 10:30 a.m. Field Trip Day start at Rabobank Arena. It is the third meeting of 15 on the season between the two sides and the first of four straight against one another. Dating back to Jan. 14, 2014, the Condors are 9-3-1 (including playoffs) in their last 13 games against their rivals to the north.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors picked up two points in a weekend set against the conference-leading Idaho Steelheads after a shootout loss and an overtime loss on Friday and Saturday respectively. By earning two points, the Condors remained in second place in the Pacific Division.
Stockton has dropped four straight on their current road trip which concludes Thursday, including being swept in Alaska over the weekend. G Shane Owen started each of the last two games in Anchorage and stopped 34 of 37 shots on Sunday after making 35 saves on 36 shots on Saturday.
CONDORS NOTES
RW Sebastien Sylvestre has scored in each of the last two games and added an assist for three points in two games last weekend... RW Brendan Brooks was signed by the team on Monday. The 35-year old is in his 17th professional season mostly spent in the AHL and the top leagues in Europe...The Condors goaltending tandem of Frans Tuohimaa and Ty Rimmer have alternated starts over the past five games...Rimmer leads the ECHL in minutes played with 664 and saves with 312...RW Josh Winquist, LW Kellen Jones, and C Connor Jones are all in the top-10 in rookie scoring.
