Hockey Hall of Famer Glenn Anderson to Attend Frozen Dome Classic

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Hockey Hall of Famer and six-time Stanley Cup champion Glenn Anderson will be a special guest when the Syracuse Crunch host the Utica Comets at the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Anderson, a six-time Stanley Cup champion, will be available to sign autographs in the Carrier Dome back-ice area and make an appearance at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse pregame party. The pregame party, which is open to the public from 3 to 6 p.m., will lead up to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic's main event, Crunch vs. Comets at 7 p.m.
The Crowne Plaza pregame event will include $4 Molson Canadian and Miller Lite pitchers paired with bowls of chili, hot dogs and hot chocolate. The Crowne Plaza Syracuse will feature a dome hockey table in the lobby and an ice bar outside.
Anderson played for four teams in his 16-year NHL career - the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and Toronto Maple Leafs. Anderson won the Stanley Cup five times with the Oilers and once with the Rangers. The four-time NHL All-Star (1984, '85, '86 and '88) played in 1,129 games earning 1,099 points (498g, 601a). Anderson also appeared in 225 career NHL playoff games; his 214 playoff points are fourth-most in NHL history. He has 93 playoff goals, fifth-most in league history. The Vancouver native was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008 and had his jersey No. 9 retired by the Oilers in 2009.
Tickets to the Toyota Frozen Dome Classic are on sale now and range in price from $20 to $50. Discount ticket prices are available for groups of 15 or more people.
