Raley Field to Host PJs in the Park

WEST SACRAMENTO - Raley Field will host a free community holiday event with activities for the whole family on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Children and parents alike are encouraged to dress in their favorite comfy pajamas and take part in festive activities including holiday crafts, games, pictures with Santa, and cookie decorating.
Admission to the event and parking at Raley Field will be free and guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit a local children's charity. In addition, anyone who donates a toy will receive 10% off at the On Deck Shop during the event.
"We're proud to host another fun, safe event for the greater Sacramento area at Raley Field," said River Cats President Jeff Savage. "The ballpark is a haven for families during the summer, and we want to continue that community atmosphere throughout the offseason."
The On Deck Shop team store will open at 9:30 a.m. for fans to browse the latest San Francisco Giants World Series apparel, as well as new River Cats merchandise. Located on the main concourse, a complimentary gift wrapping station will be available. The store will remain open through 4 p.m.
A variety of concession stand offerings will be available for purchase throughout the morning including breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, donuts, muffins, hot dogs, fountain drinks, coffee, and hot chocolate.
This event will occur rain or shine and will take place along the concourse of Raley Field.
