Nine Eskimos Named to West Division All-Star Team

(Edmonton) - Today, the Canadian Football League named nine Eskimos to the West Division All-Star Team - the most since 1997 when 10 Eskimos were named.

Division All-Stars were selected by 71 voters, including members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) and CFL head coaches.The CFL All-Stars will be announced in early December.

QB Mike Reilly

Reilly completed 288-of-446 pass attempts for 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 616 yards on 79 carries and a career-high eight touchdowns.

RB John White

In his second season with the Green and Gold, White recorded 852 yards on 123 carries with two touchdowns in nine games. He also recorded 182 receiving yards on 17 catches with one touchdown and 25 yards on two kick returns.

R Adarius Bowman

Bowman recorded a league-leading 1,456 yards on 112 catches with six touchdowns. He added seven 100+ yard receiving games this season, including a nine-catch, 140-yard performance where he hauled in three touchdown passes in Week 3. In Week 17, Bowman set the Eskimo record for most receptions in a single season.

OG Simeon Rottier

Rottier is an integral member of the Eskimo offensive line who started in 16 games this season.

DT Almondo Sewell

A veteran member of the Eskimo defensive line, Sewell recorded career-highs in defensive tackles with 49 and quarterback sacks with nine in 17 games.

DE Odell Willis

Willis recorded a career-high 32 defensive tackles, 13 quarterback sacks, two interceptions, six pass knockdowns, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 18 games.

LB Dexter McCoil

McCoil recorded 67 defensive tackles, 10 special teams tackles, four quarterback sacks, seven pass knockdowns, six interceptions to tie for the league lead, and a league-leading three defensive touchdowns in his rookie season.

CB Pat Watkins

In 18 games, Watkins recorded 36 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, five pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery for a 50-yard touchdown.

ST Deon Lacey

The rookie linebacker recorded a league-leading 29 special teams tackles and nine defensive tackles in 18 games. In Week 17, he broke the Eskimo record for most special teams tackles in a single season.
