WINNIPEG, MB - The Canadian Football League today announced the 2014 Division All-Stars, and after a career season, receiver Clarence Denmark was on that list.

Denmark broke the 1000-yard mark for the first time in his four year CFL career, while tying his career best in catches with 65. He finished the 2014 season second in CFL receiving yardage with 1,080, adding three touchdowns.

"I'm very appreciative of my teammates for helping me accomplish an all-star recognition," said Denmark. "I feel Drew and I really clicked this season, and we are just looking to build off of that chemistry in 2015."

The Arkansas-Monticello product has caught at least one pass in 33 consecutive games, started all 18 this season, has now appeared in 70 career CFL games, with 69 career starts. This is the second straight season that Denmark has led the Bombers in receiving yardage.

Denmark, who signed an extension with the club in September which will keep him in Blue and Gold through, 2016, clearly has the eye of his starting quarterback.

"Clarence is hands down one of the most reliable receivers in this league," said Bombers quarterback Drew Willy. "He comes to work every day, works as hard as anyone in every facet of our day. He studies diligently, is a great teammate and someone we are very fortunate to have in our locker room. I'm very happy for him that he was recognized as an all-star."

Among his 65 receptions in 2014, 24 of them were 2nd down conversions, which ranked him fourth in the CFL. He now has reached 249 catches in four seasons with the Bombers, and is up to 3,447 career yards, with seven 100-yard games.
