Montreal Alouettes News Release

Montreal, November 8, 2014 - Following a 29-15 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Saturday afternoon, the Montreal Alouettes finished in second position in the East Division, and will host the Eastern Semi-Final at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium at 1:00 p.m on Sunday, November 16.

For this crucial contest, the team will battle the BC Lions or the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The team which finishes fourth in the West Division will be better ranked better than the third position team in the East Division and will cross over to the Eastern Semi-Final.

Montreal has won eight of their last ten games this season and have accomplished a feat that no other team ever has, which is finishing the season with a record of,500 (9-9) after being six games under that mark (1-7).

Du to the uncertainty surrounding potentially holding a game at Olympic Stadium in the event of a snowfall the game is set to take place at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Tickets for the Eastern Finals are already on sale at Admission.com or by phone 1-855-790-1245. For more information, visit MontrealAlouettes.com.
