SALT LAKE CITY (Monday, Nov. 3, 2014) - 2015 Real Monarchs SLC season tickets are NOW on sale for the USL PRO club's Inaugural Season, Real Salt Lake and the USL PRO league office announced today. Packages for the 2015 season, which start at just $112 for lower bowl seating, allow extraordinary access to Rio Tinto Stadium, home of Major League Soccer's Real Salt Lake, the Monarch's parent club.

"We are committed to providing another asset to our great State of Utah and the InterMountain region, one which will provide career, sporting and entertainment value to all those who wish to work, play and live here," said RSL Owner Dell Loy Hansen. "The collective presence of the Monarchs and USL PRO on the Utah sports scene deepens our sport's roots in the community, strengthen the infrastructure supporting our elite MLS team, and marks the latest of many initiatives for soccer in Utah."

RSL Owner Dell Loy Hansen has formed the Monarchs as an elite lower-division professional squad which bridges the gap between Real Salt Lake - which drew 0-0 on Saturday night in the first leg of its 2014 Western Conference Semifinal series against the Los Angeles Galaxy - and the club's highly-lauded academy at the Grande Sports complex in Arizona, which has produced a perennial pipeline of NCAA Division I players, young professionals and has consistently competed for numerous national championships at the U-18 and U-16 levels in recent years.

"We have a bunch of talent in the pipeline at the Arizona academy, and we'd love to start signing a few more of these kids that need professional seasoning before we add them to the first-team roster," said RSL General Manager Garth Lagerwey. "We have some homegrown kids that are in college right now to whom we've begun offering contracts; they could be a very, very good nucleus there for a USL PRO team."

"Kudos to Mr. Hansen for taking this step. We are extremely excited about giving some of these young kids an opportunity to really test themselves, and hopefully make some mistakes and learn from those mistakes so that they're better prepared when they join the first team."

All packages include every Monarchs regular-season game and first rights to additional events, which could include Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup contests and other exhibition games.

COMING IN 2015: A premium new Daktronics video board, which will be operational for the club's 2015 season. The gigantic, fully high-definition board more than triples the video surface area of the current north end screen, and will provide nearly 4,200 square feet of 13mm HD pixel resolution, the largest board in Major League Soccer use.
