THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Adirondack Flames

Glens Falls Civic Center, 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday's meeting will mark the first of four between the Ram- page and the Adirondack Flames (formerly the Abbotsford Heat).

The Flames are 2-5-1-0 through their first eight games on the sea- son with wins over Lehigh Valley and Rochester. Adirondack topped the Amerks 7-3 on Saturday night for their biggest win so far this season.

Friday, Oct. 31 vs. Rockford IceHogs

AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m.

The Rampage and the IceHogs play a two-game series Friday and Saturday night at the AT&T Center. The matchup pairs teams that are currently sitting in third and fourth place in the Western Confer- ence. Rockford is 4-2-0-1 and in second place in the Midwest Divi- sion while the Rampage, at 5-2-0-0 sit in first place in the West Divi- sion.

Saturday, Nov. 1 vs. Rockford IceHogs

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

San Antonio and Rockford meet again on Saturday night. The Ram- page finished 1-1-0-0 against the IceHogs last season with the win coming at home in early October. In just two games of the season series, Vincent Trocheck led the Silver and Black with two goals and an assist while defenseman Alex Petrovic contributed a goal and an assist. Ryan Hartman, Mark McNeill and Peter Regin currently lead the IceHogs with two goals and three assists each.

ZOMBIE NIGHT - Friday, Oct. 31:

The Rampage will celebrate Halloween with Zombie Night at the AT&T Center on Friday, Oct. 31. Fans can wear their costumes for an opportunity to win Ram- page prizes and there will be a special "zombie" cate- gory for additional prizes.

MOVEMBER KICKOFF NIGHT - Saturday, Nov. 1 The Rampage will kick off a month-long campaign to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues.

Fans can sign up to participate in Movember at Satur- day's game and donate to support San Antonio's efforts.

FIRST IN THE WEST: With a two-game sweep of the Hamilton Bulldogs over the weekend, the Rampage advanced to 5-2-0-0, which is the team's best seven-game start since the 2009-10 season (5-1-1-0). San Antonio's 10 points puts them in third place in the Western Conference and in first place in the West Division.

NEW GENERAL MANAGER: Eric Joyce was named the San Antonio Rampage's General Manager on Monday afternoon. Joyce joined the Panthers organization prior to the 2013-2014 season, working closely with Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon on numerous projects, including developing the club's analytics department, as well as planning the team's rookie and training camps. Joyce will serve as the point person for all hockey operations matters associ- ated with San Antonio.

ICE CHIPS: Steven Kampfer - Rampage Defenseman

Kampfer has tallied two goals and an assist from the blueline for the Rampage with all three points coming in the last four games. Kampfer provided the second assist on John McFarland's game-winning goal against Oklahoma City on Oct. 18. He scored in Friday's 5-2 loss to Utica and notched his second marker in Sunday's win over the Hamil- ton Bulldogs. All three of Kampfer's points have come on the power play.
