Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO - October 24, 2014 - Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) players Mason Stajduhar and Aidan Wixted have been called up for the U.S. U-18 Men's National Team (USMNT) training camp at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center in Carson, California.
The nine-day camp will include an intra-squad match on Sunday, Octobers 26, and the U-18s are potentially set to play a local club team during this stretch. Among this roster, 35 of the 36 players are currently registered with Development Academy clubs.
In addition, OCYS USSDA Midfielder Raul Aguilera will join the U.S. U-16 Boys' National Team for their upcoming training camp in Paris, France. The week-long training camp is scheduled to take place from November 13-21, 2014.
The recent call-ups demonstrate Orlando City Youth Soccer's ongoing efforts to provide elite programs, yielding national team exposure for its members. OCYS is the only youth club in Florida to offer the USSDA and Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the highest level of play for boys and girls in the United States.
As part of Orlando City's commitment to developing young talent, all OCYS USSDA players are fully funded - including registration, travel and uniform costs.
