The Danbury Whalers are getting ready to drop the puck in the 5th season of Federal Hockey League action this Saturday, October 18th at 8 PM against the Watertown Wolves at the Danbury Ice Arena.

This game is sure to feature plenty of excitement with new promotions, some old favorites, plenty of giveaways, plus a Hall of Famer & Heisman Trophy winner in attendance.

Former Dallas Cowboys running back #33 Tony Dorsett will be attendance. Tony's appearance is brought to you by Bruce Bennett Nissan.

After the game before to stop by Two Steps Downtown Grille for the season opening Post Game Party. Entertainment after the game will feature The Zambonis. If you've never heard the Zambonis be sure to check them out. They have performed all over the globe as well as at the 2002 NHL All-Star Game and 2014 NCAA Frozen Four. Click here for a preview.

The Whalers have never lost a Home Opener.

Park in the Patriot Garage across the street from the Danbury Ice Arena. It's safe, secure, and legal. Make sure the only ticket you get is to the game.
