Amerks to Host Seventh Annual "Sweets in the Suites"

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team will host its seventh annual "Sweets in the Suites" Halloween celebration presented by TOPS Friendly Markets on Friday, Oct. 24 when the Amerks play the Adirondack Flames at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

There will also be a special pregame visit from Elsa and Anna, the princesses from the Disney movie, "Frozen." Elsa and Anna will be available to meet fans in the upper atrium prior to the game.

Kids ages 12 and under will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a $20 adult ticket. This offer is valid at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office or by calling 1-855-GO-AMERKS. In addition, any fan that wears a Halloween costume to the Box Office prior to the game can save $9 on the purchase of a premium ticket.

The first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under will receive a free Amerks pillow case for trick-or-treating courtesy of TOPS Friendly Markets. During the first intermission of the game, all children ages 12 or younger will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat on one of the two suite levels and collect treats courtesy of TOPS Friendly Markets. The second intermission will feature a costume contest and parade, with the winner of the contest earning a future appearance from the Amerks' mascot, the Moose, in the Greater Rochester Area.

The Amerks' next home game is Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7:05 p.m. versus the Rockford IceHogs. Individual Game Tickets start at just $12. Season Tickets are still available and start as low as just $6 per game.
