Fargo Force Release New Mobile Gameday App
October 16, 2014 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Fargo Force News Release
FARGO, ND - The Fargo Force have released a new GameDay mobile app in conjunction with Emotion Media Inc. that will allow fans to be interactive during home games at Scheels Arena.
The app will allow fans to check into their seats when they get to the game and participate in interactive entertainment. It will give them exclusive access to gameday content such as game notes and line charts. Special discounts and deals will also be available in the app to its users.
The flagship of the platform is the patent pending Light Up the StandsR feature which treats each user's phone as a pixel in an animated visual display. For example, during player introductions, fans can hold up their phones and pixelate their team's colors in the stands. This is made possible by integrating the screen displays of the phones and creating an animated mosaic from the colors displayed.
Emotion Media Inc. (EMI), is the Winnipeg-based developer of the Fannex Entertainment System and the Fargo Force GameDay app. Fannex is a mobile technology platform that allows sports and entertainment venues to engage attending fans and energize their entertainment experience through their mobile devices.
The Fargo Force is the first USHL hockey team to feature this interactive GameDay app. To download the free app, go to the Apple App store or Google Play store and search "Fargo Force GameDay".
Fargo Force play at home Oct. 16 and 17 vs. the Lincoln Stars at 7:05 PM.
