Another Player of the Week award

For the second time this season, a Silvertips player has received WHL Player of the Week honors as center Ivan Nikolishin was recognized today for his efforts in a pair of Silvertips wins last weekend. Nikolishin posted consecutive three-point nights over the weekend, scoring one goal and assisting on two others in both Friday's 6-2 home victory over Portland and Saturday's 5-1 road win at Kamloops. Nikolishin joins Carson Stadnyk as the two 'Tips to be so recognized this season. Stadnyk currently leads the club in scoring with 12 points (6g/6a), while Nikolishin is second on the team with nine (2g/7a).

Pink the Rink is almost here!

Get ready for our sixth-annual Pink the Rink breast cancer fundraiser game next Saturday, October 25 vs. the rival Seattle Thunderbirds! Pink the Rink has raised over $315,000 to fight breast cancer right here in Snohomish County and the surrounding areas by funding free and low-cost breast cancer screenings for women without insurance or the means to pay through the Providence General Foundation.
