THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Oct. 17 vs. Utica Comets

AT&T Center, 7:30 p.m.

The Rampage host the Utica Comets for the first time this season on Friday on a MIX 96.1 $1 Drink Night at the AT&T Center. The night will mark the return of former Rampage goaltender Jacob Markstrom to San Antonio. Markstrom was traded to the Vancouver Canucks last March. The Silver and Black were 2-0-0-0 last season against Utica. The Comets will see a very different Rampage team than they faced last season, as only 10 players currently on San Antonio's roster skated for the Silver and Black against Utica last season.

Saturday, Oct. 18 at Oklahoma City Barons

Cox Convention Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage and the Barons will play the second of 12 meetings this season on Saturday night and the first matchup of the year at the Cox Convention Center. San Antonio was 4-8-0-0 against Okla- homa City last season an winless on the road, going 0-6-0-0 in Okla- homa City. Vincent Trocheck led the Silver and Black with six goals and five assists in nine games against the Barons last season, and Bobby Butler tallied five goals and five assists in 11 games. Garrett Wilson led San Antonio with six assists in the season series.

ZOMBIE NIGHT - Friday, Oct. 31: The Rampage will celebrate Halloween with Zombie Night at the AT&T Center on Friday, Oct. 31. Fans can wear their costumes for an opportunity to win Ram- page prizes and there will be a special "zombie" cate- gory for additional prizes.

WEEK IN REVIEW: With a 2-0-0-0 start this season, the Rampage are off to their best start in seven years, having last started with two straight wins during the 2007- 08 season. San Antonio opened the 2014-15 season with a 3-2 win over the Iowa Wild on Friday night. Bobby Butler and Mark Mancari recorded a goal and an assist each and Garrett Wilson added a tally.

On Saturday, the Rampage got an overtime goal from Rocco Grimaldi to take a 3-2 win over the Oklahoma City Barons. Vincent Trocheck and Brett Olson scored the other two goals for the Rampage and Blake Parlett added two assists.

MILESTONES: Rampage forward Drew Shore skated in his 100th AHL game in Friday night's season opener. Grimaldi recorded his first professional/AHL point with an assist on Butler's goal late in the second period and notched his first professional/ AHL marker with the overtime tally on Saturday.

CAPTAINS: Defenseman Greg Zanon was chosen the captain of the 2014-15 Ram- page. Forward Bobby Butler will serve as an alternate and forward Garrett Wilson and defenseman Alex Petrovic will share responsibilities for the second alternate.
