WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves fired 72 combined shots on net against the Checkers, including a 43-16 advantage in Sunday's game, tied for the ninth-largest regular-season shot differential (+27) in franchise history; additionally, the team held Charlotte to just one shot on goal in the first period Saturday, a feat they had not accomplished since Jan. 10, 2009 (third period vs. Peoria).

--- Head coach JOHN ANDERSON earned win No. 300 at Allstate Arena on Saturday, his 552nd regular-season win overall with the Wolves; the bench boss is on pace to coach his 1,000th regular-season game with the team Jan. 10 in Grand Rapids.

--- The Wolves shut down 7 of 8 Checkers power plays in the doubleheader for a penalty killing percentage of 87.5; last season the team had the league's fourth-best PK unit, going 292-for-341 (85.6 percent).

--- Chicago is still searching for its first power-play goal of the season after going 0-for-10, including two 5-on-3 opportunities, over the weekend; the team finished last in the league on the PP last season, going 43-for-342 (12.6 percent).

--- With only three goals total against Charlotte last weekend, the Wolves will look to spark their offense against Lake Erie; Chicago averaged 4.75 goals in four games against the Monsters last season, including a 4-0 win in their opening matchup Dec. 27.
