Riders Sign Kerry Joseph

The Saskatchewan Roughriders today announced international quarterback Kerry Joseph has signed with the team. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not released.

Joseph (6'0 - 225) will enter his twelfth CFL season and second tenure with the Green and White. The McNeese State product originally entered the league with the Ottawa Renegades in 2003, where he spent three seasons. The Riders acquired Joseph in the 2006 CFL Dispersal Draft. The Louisiana native was named the Most Outstanding Player in 2007 on his way to leading the Riders to their third Grey Cup in franchise history.

For his career, Joseph has played 175 regular season games, with 108 starts, while compiling 27,491 passing yards and 144 touchdowns. He has also added an impressive 4,539 rushing yards and scored 55 touchdowns. He has also spent time with the Edmonton Eskimos and Toronto Argonauts.

The 41 year old Joseph is expected to be on the field for practice today.
