Rockets Now Winners of Seven Straight to Open Season

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Swift Current Broncos 4-0 on Tuesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, winning its seventh straight game to open the WHL season.

Carter Rigby led the way with a pair of goals as well as an assist in the game, which the Rockets controlled from the get-go.

Jackson Whistle earned the win in net, stopping all 18 shots the Broncos fired his way. Kelowna outshot the Broncos 26-18 in the game.

Justin Kirkland and Cole Linaker also scored to the Rockets while Austin Glover chipped in with two helpers.

Kelowna is back in action this Saturday when they play host to the Lethbridge Hurricanes at Prospera Place.
