Rockford Reduces Roster to 25

Rockford, Ill.- The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced today that they have released defensemen Cam Barker from his try out agreement with the IceHogs.

Barker, 28, was originally the 3rd overall pick by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Rockford's roster now stands at 25 players including 15 forwards, eight defensemen and two goalies.

Next Home Game: The IceHogs open the 2014-15 season on Saturday, Oct. 11 against the Milwaukee Admirals. The puck drops at 7 p.m., and the first 5,000 fans will receive an IceHogs calendar courtesy of Stateline Staffing Services. For tickets visit IceHogs.com or call (815) 968-5222.
