Rockford Trims Training Camp Roster Down to 20

Rockford, Ill.- The American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs announced today that they have reduced their training camp roster by 14 skaters.

Defensemen Kirill Gotovets, Justin Holl and Mathieu Brisebois, along with goalies Mac Carruth and Kent Simpson were loaned to Rockford's ECHL affiliate Indy Fuel.

Players released from their training camp tryouts include forwards Scott Brannon, Winston Day Chief, Garrett Klotz, Brett Perlini and Klarc Wilson, along with defensemen Nick Bruneteau, Brett Kostolansky, Ildar Telyakov and Paul Swindlehurst.

Rockford's training camp roster now stands at 20 players including 13 forwards, six defensemen and one goalie.

Next Home Game: The IceHogs open the 2014-15 season on Saturday, Oct. 11 against the Milwaukee Admirals. The puck drops at 7 p.m., and the first 5,000 fans will receive an IceHogs calendar courtesy of Stateline Staffing Services. For tickets visit IceHogs.com or call (815) 968-5222.
