Rockets Goulbourne Back as Kelowna Hits Road
October 3, 2014 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Kelowna Rockets News Release
As the Kelowna Rockets get set for a two day weekend in the WHL US Division, the team received some good news on the player front this week with the return of its final veteran from NHL training camps.
Rockets vet Tyrell Goulbourne was returned to the Rockets on Thursday after attending the Philadelphia Flyers training camp.
However, the 20-year-old veteran, a third round pick of the Flyers in 2013, has been placed on the injured reserve list (upper body) and will start the season on the sidelines.
Rockets doctors will assess Goulbourne this week to establish a timeline for his return.
Meanwhile the Rockets play in Everett tonight and Seattle Saturday coming off of Wednesday night's home win over Vancouver.
The 4-0-0-0 Rockets return to Prospera Place on Tuesday to host the Swift Current Broncos.
