Lethbridge, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes are proud to announce their Board of Directors for the 2014-2015 season.
The 29th Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders was held last night where six (6) new members were named.
The hockey club would like to congratulate and welcome Michael Boh, Brent McDowell, Cory McLean, Roger Simpson, Daryl Wilson and Glen Wright. The new members will join; Brian McNaughton, Herman Elfring, Herb Beswick, Tyler Brack, Rick Braden, Dave Olson, Doug Paisley, Blair Sanderson, Pat Shimbashi, Reid Williams and Nick Polychronopoulos.
Adele Barrington, Vice-President Brian Wichers, Dick Gibson (who resigned earlier), Kelly Shigehiro and Brad Cook all chose not to let their names stand again while Randy Joevenazzo was seeking another term on the board of directors, but was not re-elected.
The hockey club would like to thank all six former board members for their long standing service and dedication to the hockey club and their commitment to junior hockey in Southern Alberta.
The new Board of Directors will meet in the next week on immediate issues such as the selection of their new executive and committee chairs; results will be posted on www.lethbridgehurricanes.com.
