Ontario Fury Announce Free Agent Signing

September 30, 2014 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Ontario Fury News Release

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, have signed former Pennsylvania Roar midfielder/defender Tyrone Hall to a contract for the 2014-15 Major Arena Soccer League season.

Hall played in nine games for the now defunct Roar in the 2013-14 Major Indoor Soccer League season. In his first season of playing indoor soccer, he scored one goal and had four assists for the last-place Roar. The 5-foot-9 Hall played professionally outdoors for the Charlotte Eagles of USL Pro, where he appeared in 14 games.

"Tyrone has speed and skill that will adapt to the Fury's style of play perfectly," said Bernie Lilavois, the Fury's president and coach. "We are excited to see how he performs over a full season of the indoor game."

Hall, who is in transit from the east coast, has expressed, via email, his excitement in joining the Fury and settling into the Inland Empire and proving he can be an important part of the Fury's success this season.

His agent, Tony Poarch, expressed his excitement, and that of his client in an email.

"I am extremely pleased on the agreement between Tyrone Hall and the Fury," Poarch said in an email. "Tyrone is a dynamic player with speed, who gives 100 percent. It is a pleasure to know Tyrone is welcomed into the Fury organization. I am excited for Tyrone, the organization, and the fans for what he will bring to the arena in a Fury kit. When the game day whistle blows, know that it just got real."

Hall's signing brings the Fury's pro roster to seven players as it opens training camp Oct. 1 at the Scheu Family YMCA of Upland, the official training home of the Fury. Training sessions will be from 7 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 1-3, and are open to the public. Training sessions after Friday are still to be determined.

The Fury will open the 2014-15 campaign with an exhibition game against the Las Vegas Knights on Oct. 12 before returning home Oct. 19 for an exhibition against the Mexican National Indoor soccer team at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The game will be part of a doubleheader that will also feature the United States National indoor soccer team taking on the Las Vegas Legends. Doors for the game will open at noon, with the US-Las Vegas game starting at 1 p.m. with the Fury-Mexico game kicking off at 3 p.m.

Tickets for the doubleheader are going fast, and there are a limited number of seats remaining in the lower bowl. Tickets, which start at $10, are available at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office or through OntarioFury.com. The best way to secure your seat is to purchase season tickets, which start at $90 per seat for all 11 home dates. For all the information, go to OntarioFury.com.
