MONTGOMERY, AL - The Montgomery Biscuits announced event and ticket information for the 2015 Southern League All-Star Game presented by Wind Creek Hospitality today.
The 2015 Southern League All-Star Game presented by Wind Creek Hospitality returns to Montgomery after nine years on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Festivities will begin Monday, June 22 with the Southern League All-Star Social. Fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from future stars of the Major Leagues as every Southern League All-Star player will be available for an autograph session during the Social held in The Alley in Downtown Montgomery. Some of the most celebrated Major League players from past Southern League All-Star games include Cardinals' catcher and six-time All-Star, Yadier Molina; the 2010 National League MVP, Joey Votto; and the 2013 National League MVP runner-up and two-time All-Star for the Diamondbacks, Paul Goldschmidt.
All-Star festivities will resume the evening of Tuesday, June 23 at Riverwalk Stadium with the Southern League All-Star Home Run Derby where the league's top hitters and prospects will compete for the Home Run Derby Title. The 2014 Minor League Player of the Year and number-two, overall prospect in all of baseball, Kris Bryant won the 2014 Home Run Derby in Chattanooga. The Biscuits' own Cameron Seitzer won the 2013 crown in Jacksonville.
Following the Southern League All-Star Home Run Derby, the Southern League All-Star Game presented by Wind Creek Hospitality will commence at 7:35 pm. Following the game, fans will enjoy a MAX Fireworks Spectacular.
Tickets for the 2015 Southern League All-Star Game presented by Wind Creek Hospitality are $22 for reserved seating and $15 for general admission. Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, March 23, 2015. Ticket prices include admission to the 2015 Southern League Home Run Derby.
