Trick-Or-Beat Returns to Appalachian Power Park on October 30

Charleston, WV - September 25, 2014 - The West Virginia Power and West Virginia Radio Corporation are pleased to announce that Trick-Or-Beat will be held at Appalachian Power Park on October 30, 2014. This is the ninth consecutive year that the West Virginia Power and 98.7 The Beat will team up to present a safe environment for Charleston area youth to trick-or-treat.

"The Power are once again excited to work with West Virginia Radio Corporation and the staff of 98.7 The Beat on a safe night of trick-or-treating for the Kanawha Valley," stated West Virginia Power General Manager Tim Mueller. "People have been bringing their children to the park for years and we are happy to provide this staple off-season event as a member of this great community."

There will be two trick-or-treating sessions on October 30, 2014. Session one will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will last until 7:00 p.m. The second session will start at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude at 8:30 p.m. Trick-Or-Beat is open to kids 12 and under. Admission is free, however, you must have a ticket for entry. Tickets are available at the West Virginia Power front office or at West Virginia Radio Corporation, located at 1111 Virginia Street East in Charleston.

Local businesses are encouraged to contact the Power front office if they are interested in making a candy donation or if they would like to attend on October 30 to set up a table display and distribute candy on their own.
