Blades Release Ross Hnidy

Saskatoon Blades News Release
General Manager and Head Coach Bob Woods announced tonight that the Saskatoon Blades have released defenceman Ross Hnidy.
Hnidy, 18, played in 27 games with the Blades last season, recording one assist and 27 penalty minutes. The 5-foot-11, 219-pound blueliner did not appear in either of the Blades' two games so far this season.
In three pre-season games, Hnidy was held pointless, going -2 and collecting seven penalty minutes.
