2014-15 FHL Schedule Unveiled

SYRACUSE, NY - The Federal Hockey League today released the complete schedule of regular-season games for the 2014-15 season, the league's 5th year of operation. The season, comprising 168 games, begins on Fri., Oct. 17 and concludes on Sun., Mar. 8; each of the league's 6 clubs will play 56 games, 28 at home and 28 on the road.
2014-15 Online Schedule
Some highlights of the 2014-15 schedule:
- The 2014-15 regular season begins with three games on Oct. 17, including the debut of both the Berkshire Battalion and the SouthWest Pennsylavnia Magic and they match up against each other in North Adams.
- The SWPA Magic begin their first season in Belle Vernon, Pa., on Oct. 18 when they welcome the Berkshire Battalion to complete thier home-and-home series.
- The 2014 Commissioners Cup champion Dayton Demonz begin their title defense at Hara Arena on Oct. 17 when they host the Danville Dashers. The Danbury Whalers, defending regular season champions, open the season on the road in Watertown before returning home on Oct. 18 to finished off the home-and-home series.
- The Danville Dashers will host the Danbury Whalers on Sat, Jan. 31 at McMorran Arena in Port, Huron, Michigan for the leagues neutral site game.
Entering its 5th season of operation, the Federal Hockey League is one of six professional leagues in the United States. The FHL has promoted over 150 players to various other professional leagues including the AHL, ECHL, CHL, & European Leagues. The FHL currently has teams located in Danbury (CT), Dayton (OH), Watertown (NY), Danville (IL), and Southwestern Western Pennsylvania. Last season over 100,000 fans watched FHL action live.
