Dashers Announce 2014-15 Game Schedule

DANVILLE, IL - The Danville Dashers, a proud member of the Federal Hockey League, are pleased to announce their 2014-15 season game schedule. The FHL is heading into its fifth season and has a 56 game schedule this season for each team. It will be an even split: 28 home games and 28 road games. The Dashers' season starts on the road in Dayton on October 17th & 18th against the defending 2014 FHL Commissioner's Cup Champions the Demonz.

The Dashers will drop the puck for their first home game at the Palmer Arena in Danville on Friday, October 31st for a Halloween Friday Night Fright Night where all kids will get in FREE. There will be games, candy, prizes and fun for all. All fans in costume will be entered to win a signed game worn jersey. The Dashers will return at home on Saturday, November 1st to face the Southwest PA Magic.

In keeping with the FHL's interest in regular season exhibition games, the Dashers will host the Danbury Whalers on January 31,2015 at the McMorran Place Arena in Port Huron, MI. This will be the only FHL game played at this arena during the 2014-15 season.

All Dashers home games will start at 7:05 pm CST with the exception of Sunday games, which will commence at 5:05 pm CST. The FHL is split this year with an Eastern and Western divisions. Teams will play 8 home games and 8 road games against teams in their division, and 4 home games and 4 road games against teams outside their division. The Dashers are in the Western division, along with the Dayton Demonz and the Southwest PA Magic. The Danbury Whalers, Watertown Wolves and the Berkshire Battalion round out the Eastern division for the FHL, officially returning the FHL to a six-team league.

Season ticket packages are now on sale at the David S. Palmer Arena Box Office or by phone at (217) 431-2444. Individual game tickets will go on sale in October, as will group rate tickets.
