Lucas Chiodo Commits to Colts

Barrie, ON- Barrie Colts General Manager Jason Ford announced today that forward Lucas Chiodo has committed to the team and has signed an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement.
The Colts selected the Barrie, Ontario native in the 15th round, 293rd overall in the 2014 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection draft. Last season with the Barrie Colts Minor Midget AAA team Chiodo collected 16 goals, 26 assists for 42 points in 34 games played.
"Lucas is a skilled and smart player that had an outstanding training camp. He is a determined kid that we feel will only get better over time," said General Manager Jason Ford.
Chiodo will make his first appearance with the Colts in exhibition action tonight Thursday September 11th as the Sudbury Wolves visit the Barrie Molson Centre.
