Phoenix Mercury News Release
PHOENIX - Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner underwent an outpatient procedure to correct a retinal issue. She is under the observation of Mercury and Suns team ophthalmologist Dr. Jay Schwartz in Phoenix. Griner will be re-evaluated Friday morning, will then join the team in Chicago, and she will be a game-time decision for Game 3 of the WNBA Finals Friday evening.
