State Street to Host Grand Opening Weekend September 25-27

MIDLAND, Mich. - State Street is pleased to announce its grand opening weekend will take place September 25-27 and will include food and drink specials, live music as well as a community art project.

The community art project will take place Saturday, September 27 from 2-4 p.m. on Dow Diamond's front lawn, located directly across the street from State Street. Local artists, children, families and creative individuals are encouraged to participate in the event in which seventy 1'x1' canvases will be painted with a bicycle motif, and will adorn the walls of State Street.

As part of the grand opening festivities, the Topfloor band will play perform live at State Street on Saturday, September 27 from 7-10 p.m.

Patrons can enjoy the following specials from 5-8 p.m. during State Street's grand opening:

Thursday, September 25 - $2.00 12 oz. cans of Stroh's, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Old Milwaukee

Friday, September 26 - 1/2 off appetizers and $3.00 draft beer

Saturday, September 27 - Buy one, get one free on all wraps, Panini's and sandwiches, and $3.00 bottled beer

In addition to food and drink specials, patrons can stop by for a free cup of coffee and newspaper September 22-27.

In the morning, State Street is a coffee bar that's comfortable and connected (free Wi-Fi). At lunch, it's the perfect laid-back spot to take a break from the fast-food hustle. In the evening, the transition morphs to a fun-filled restaurant/bar serving smart food, craft beers and wine.
