Hawks Happenings On The Ice:
The Winterhawks finished their preseason schedule over the weekend, going 4-1. The Hawks scored 23 goals in the five games, which ranks third in the league through this weekend's games. Oliver Bjorkstrand led the Hawks with seven points in the preseason, followed by Nic Petan, Chase De Leo, Alex Schoenborn and 20-year-old training camp invitee Joshua Smith all posting five points.
This week nine Hawks players will be leaving to attend training camps with their prospective NHL teams. The players leaving this week will be:

Anton Cederholm, Vancouver Canucks
Chase De Leo, Winnipeg Jets
Blake Heinrich, Washington Capitals

The Winterhawks open the season next Friday at home at the Moda Center against the Seattle Thunderbirds, with Opening Night Presented by Pacific Office Automation. The Hawks will open the game by raising their U.S. Division and Western Conference banners to the rafters. Fans can purchase tickets at winterhawks.com, ticketmaster.com or in person at any Ticketmaster outlet.
Hawks Happenings On The Ice:
The first player appearance of the season will be Saturday at the Les Schwab located at 8910 SW Barbur Blvd. Rosebuds and the Fanboni will be on site beginning at 3 p.m., with Ethan Price, Keoni Texeira and other players arriving at approximately 3:45 after practice.
