Chris Rolfe Fractures Left Forearm

Washington, D.C. (September 4, 2014) - D.C. United announced that midfielder Chris Rolfe will miss six weeks with a fractured left radial head and ulna. The surgery was performed last night by orthopedic specialist Dr. Ken Fine and hand and wrist specialist Dr. Sunjay Berdia at George Washington University Hospital. The midfielder picked up the injury at training on Wednesday, September 3.
Acquired from Chicago Fire in exchange for allocation money on April 2, Rolfe has appeared in 21 games (20 starts) for United and has recorded six goals and six assists. In eight MLS seasons, he has appeared in 199 games (169 starts) and has recorded 54 goals and 28 assists.
