Indiana Fever News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Pacers Head Coach Frank Vogel has joined local efforts to send the Indiana Fever back to the WNBA Finals with the purchase of 500 tickets to Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Wednesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. In an effort to pack the house for a clinching Game 3 against the Chicago Sky, complimentary tickets will be distributed to fans on Tuesday afternoon at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office.

In search of a third trip to the WNBA Finals since 2009, the Fever fell in double overtime in Game 2 against the Chicago Sky on Monday afternoon, 86-84, forcing a decisive Game 3 on Wednesday. Tipoff for Game 3 is 7:00 p.m. The winner will advance to the WNBA Finals, beginning Sunday, Sept. 7, to meet the winner of the West Finals, either the Phoenix Mercury or Minnesota Lynx.

Fever fans may collect up to a maximum four complimentary tickets per person beginning at noon on Tuesday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office. Additional tickets are available at the box office or at FeverBasketball.com and all Ticketmaster outlets, including a closeout special with remaining Krieg DeVault Club Level tickets just $10.

The Fever Playoffs are presented by Old National Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear RED to Wednesday's game, the same as in 2012 when the Fever won its first WNBA championship and the first pro basketball championship in Indiana since the ABA Indiana Pacers in 1973.

A WNBA playoff participant in 10 straight seasons and 11 times since 2002, the Indiana Fever has reached at least the conference finals seven times in the past 10 years - including WNBA Finals appearances in 2009 and 2012. Just two seasons ago, Indiana capped the 2012 campaign as the champions of women's basketball, beating the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals. The Fever hosts Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday, Sept. 3, against the Chicago Sky (7:00 p.m.). For season ticket information, visit FeverBasketball.com or call (317) 917-2528.
