Playoff Bound 66ers Face Storm in First Round

With the victory last night over the Lancaster JetHawks your defending California League Champion Inland Empire 66ers will once again be a part of the California League playoff picture. Heading into today's slate of games the 66ers hold a one game lead over the Lake Elsinore Storm for the 2nd Half Division crown. If the team maintains that lead after tonight they will be the #2 seed in the southern division setting up a home game at San Manuel Stadium on Thursday, September 4th with the possibility of a game three Friday at San Manuel Stadium if necessary.

If the Storm and the 66ers end the season in a tie for the second half division title than the 66ers will be the #3 seed and will host the first game of the mini-series on Wednesday, September 3rd. Stay tuned for more information, promotions, and ticket info as they will be announced shortly after tonight's game, first pitch time is 5:00pm.
