Sky Blue FC Loans Kiryu and Cameron to Japanese Clubs

MORRISTOWN, NJ (August 30, 2014) - Sky Blue FC announced today the club has agreed to loan forward Nanase Kiryu to NTV Beleza of Japan's Nadeshiko League. SBFC has also agreed to send goalkeeper Brittany Cameron on loan to Japanese club Vegalta Sendai.

Kiryu will rejoin her former club, which competes in the league's top division. She has made 127 appearances and has scored 40 career goals with NTV Beleza.

The Kanagawa native played in 16 games - starting 12 - during her first season with Sky Blue FC for a total of 909 minutes. Kiryu recorded one assist this season on June 1 against Seattle Reign FC, setting up teammate Katy Freels in the 42nd minute for the New Jersey squad's only goal in the 3-1 loss.

Cameron will roster with Vegalta Sendai for the first time in her professional career. The Japanese club also competes in the Nadeshiko League.

During the 2014 campaign, Cameron earned two clean sheets in seven games, including the June 28 match against the Reign. She also made 28 saves in 630 minutes played.

Both Kiryu and Cameron will return ahead of the 2015 NWSL season.
