Nicholson Reassigned from Training Camp Roster

SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs have reassigned defenceman Gareth Nicholson from their training camp roster.

Nicholson, 19, was acquired earlier this month from the Moncton Wildcats.

In two seasons with the Wildcats and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, the Kentville, Nova Scotia, native has two goals and nine points in 93 games.

Twenty-seven players remain in camp, including three goaltenders, eight defencemen and 16 forwards.

Saint John's next preseason game is Friday, September 5th, at 7:30 p.m. against the Charlottetown Islanders at Harbour Station. Tickets are on sale at the Harbour Station Box Office at a cost of $5 for season ticket holders and $9 (plus a $1 service charge) for the general public.

Season tickets are also on sale now at the Harbour Station Box Office and the Sea Dogs' office on the pedway level of Harbour Station. Season ticket holders can SAVE up to $170 on their seats when compared with single-game box office prices.
