Seattle Storm News Release
Dear Storm Fans,
Two things were abundantly clear when Coach Agler and I walked out of the WNBA Draft Lottery last Thursday night. The Seattle Storm will optimize the number one draft pick. This opportunity comes as we head into our offseason, where we will refocus, redefine and prepare for the future success of Storm Basketball.
The second thing that struck me was that you, the fans, were with us Thursday night. When we say, we have the greatest fans in the world, it isn't lip-service. It just takes showing up to one game, or asking any player in the league what it's like to play at KeyArena, to know why. You've been a huge part of the legacy of success in this organization and stood tall when times were tough.
This loyalty and commitment is what makes us #OneStorm.
I look forward to sharing more this offseason but wanted to thank you for your continued support.
Go Storm!
Alisha Valavanis
