Rosa, Moran and Tilson Named to FSL Post-Season All-Star Team

JUPITER, FL - The Florida State League announced its 2014 Post-Season All-Star Team today. Included on the team were 2014 Jupiter Hammerheads Viosergy Rosa and Colin Moran, along with 2014 Palm Beach Cardinal Charlie Tilson. Rosa and Moran were named all-stars at first base and third base, respectively, while Tilson was honored as the selection for center field.
Rosa, who was called up to Jacksonville on August 11th, played 116 games for the Sharks and was batting .291 with 13 home runs and 78 RBI at the time of his promotion. He currently still leads Jupiter in homers and RBI.
Moran also is no longer on the Hammerheads after getting traded to the Astros as a part of a deal on July 31st. Moran appeared in 89 games before the trade and was hitting .294 with five homers and 33 RBI.
Tilson was the lone Cardinal added to the All-Star Team. The speedy center fielder is no longer with Palm Beach after getting called up to Double-A Springfield. Tilson hit .308 in 89 games with the Birds this season. He is still currently tied for the league lead in triples with eight on the year.
