Portland Winterhawks News Release

The Portland Winterhawks have announced the signing of forward Cody Glass.

The Winterhawks selected Glass in the first round, 19th overall, of the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, after acquiring the pick in a trade with the Calgary Hitmen.

Last season as a member of the Bantam AAA Winnipeg Hawks, Glass had 31 goals and 46 assists for 77 points in 32 games, then added 17 points in 11 playoff games.

"We're excited that Cody has decided to sign with the Portland Winterhawks. He's a dynamic center who during training camp got better each day and proved that he can be an impact player for us," said Portland Winterhawks General Manager & Head Coach Jamie Kompon. "We will bring him to Everett with us this weekend prior to him heading home in preparation for his Midget season."

Premier Membership season tickets and 20, 12 and 6-game plans for 2014-15 are on sale now. Contact the Winterhawks today at 503-236-HAWK or seats@winterhawks.com to guarantee the best seat locations.
