The Kernels host the Kane County Cougars, the Midwest League affiliate of the Chicago Cubs in a three game series.

At all three games, the Kernels are giving fans FREE 12-month 2014-2015 calendars at the main gates. Also, fans can enjoy smoothies at the Budweiser Beverage Center for $3.50 ($5.50 with alcohol) during all three games.

You'll want to be here when the gates open at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27th as First Federal Credit Union will be giving $500 out at the main gates as part of Free Money Wednesday. First Federal Credit Union gives out $500 at the main gates every Wednesday home Kernels game with the top cash prize of $100. The Kernels also will be presenting Kids First with a check from the season-long Transamerica K's for Kids promotion. First pitch between the Kernels and Cougars is set for 6:35 pm.

It's the final Z 102.9 Thirsty Thursday of the season when the Kernels take on Kane County at 6:35 pm. Get 12 oz. regular draft beer and 20 oz. bottles of soda and water for just $2 all game, plus get $1 off margaritas at the Hacienda Las Glorias / La Cantina Mexican Cart. It's also Little Caesar's College Night. Show your college ID at the Kernels Ticket Office and get a Club ticket and two slices of Little Caesar's Pizza for just $7. Millhiser Smith and the Kernels will present Junior Achievement with a check as part of the Millhiser Smith Home Run season long promotion. Gates open at 5:30 pm.

It's Fan Appreciation Night when the Kernels take on Kane County at 6:35 pm on Friday, August 29th. The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a free Kernels Baseball Cap thanks to Electronic Engineering. There will be concession and souvenir specials during the game. The Kernels will be wearing the retro jerseys that were worn as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips, this season and will be sold via a silent auction during the game. And, it's a 98.1 KHAK Kernels Friday Mug Club. Buy a 16 oz. souvenir mug for just $6 and get it filled at the concession stands with regular draft beer or soda. Mug refills are just $3 all game. Stick around after the game for a spectacular post-game FIREWORKS show. Gates open at 5:30 pm.

You'll want to come back to the ballpark on Saturday, August 30th as the Kernels and Collins Community Credit Union are showing 'Frozen' on the Kernels LED board. The first 1,000 people through the gates receive free popcorn and fans can sit down on the field to watch the movie, weather permitting. Gates open at 6:00 pm and the movie starts at 7:00 pm.

Run the Bases Sunday, sponsored by Planet X: After every Sunday home game, kids (and adults) can run the bases, play catch on the field and get autographs from the Kernels, sponsored by Planet X with media sponsor 104.5 KDAT. During the game, play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo, co-sponsored by the Radisson near Mall of America for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see a Twins game. Enjoy the balloon artistry of Papa Balloon on the concourse and face painting by Kennedy. Magician Jackson Green will entertain at Sunday home games.

Dollar Monday: Regular hot dogs, small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, chips and Cracker Jacks are each $1 on Monday home games. Plus, get $1 taquitos at the Hacienda Las Glorias / La Cantina Mexican Cart.

Twins Tuesday, sponsored by Great Clips: Get an on-line coupon from the Kernels Facebook page or email newsletter for a 2 for 1 ticket offer at Tuesday home games as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. The Kernels will wear special jerseys and one lucky fan will win a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets given away at every Tuesday home game.

Free Money Wednesday, sponsored by First Federal Credit Union: First Federal Credit Union will give away $500 at the main gates, to fans age 18 and older, at every Wednesday home game with $100 as the top cash prize.

Tickets for all Kernel home games are available on-line at www.kernels.com; in person at the Kernels Ticket Office, or by calling 896-7560 during Ticket Office Hours. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 am on Kernel Sunday Home games.
