The IronPigs (62-74) play Game 4 of a five-game series against the first-place Syracuse Chiefs (77-58), owners of the best record in Triple-A baseball... With a 5-3 win yesterday, the Pigs have won back-to-back games and five of their last seven contests against the Chiefs. Still, the Pigs have gone 4-9 in their last 13 affairs following a 9-3 in a span from July 30-August 11. Lehigh Valley has gone 33-49 since May 30 -- falling from second place and 0.5 GB in the North to last place and 15.5 GB... Syracuse -- Washington's top affiliate -- has gone just 3-5 in its past eight games and has posted a 18-19 record since the Pigs last traveled to NBT Bank Stadium for back-to-back doubleheaders on July 19-20. The Chiefs took control of the North by going 38-17 from May 19-July 18, though they were tied for first with Pawtucket for two separate days since (July 31, August 11).

RHP Brad Lincoln (6-10, 5.17) will start for LHV against RHP A.J. Cole (6-0, 3.26).
