(Bridgeport, Conn. - August 22, 2014) - The Bridgeport Bluefish (17-27, 39-75) were defeated by the Lancaster Barnstormers (21-21, 60-52), 2-0 on Friday night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

The Barnstormers scored the first run of the game in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI single by Yusuke Kajimoto that just went off the glove of Bridgeport's leaping shortstop Juan Martinez. Lancaster starting pitcher Mark Rogers (5-6) picked up the win going six innings giving up no runs, six hits and one walk with one strikeout. Barnstormers' closer Jason Urquidez picked up his 19th save of the season.

For the Bluefish, Sean Burroughs, Casper Wells and James Simmons each had two hits.
