Chiefs, Red Wings Suspended in First

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, were suspended due to rain on Thursday night during their game with the Rochester Red Wings. The game, which was tied at one with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, will resume on Friday as part of a doubleheader. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 4:05 with game two, a seven-inning game, to follow 45 minutes after the completion of game one.

Syracuse left-hander Aaron Laffey is scheduled to pitch when game one returns, with right-hander Taylor Hill in line for game two.

Fans with tickets to Thursday's game can exchange their tickets for any regular-season game throughout the remainder of the 2014 season.
