Boulders Broadcast Network Visits Quebec

(POMONA, N.Y.) - On Thursday, the Rockland Boulders announced that three games of the five-game series at Quebec will be aired live on the Boulders Broadcast Network with the "Voice of the Boulders" Seth Cantor providing play-by-play commentary live from Stade Municipal. Games played on August 22, 23, and 24 will be available via the radio or internet for fans to listen to.

On Fri., Aug. 21, pre-game coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. Those looking to tune in can listen across the Boulders Broadcast Network on 1300AM, 1260AM, 1420AM or online at RocklandBoulders.com. Saturday's contest will be available only online via Stretch Internet by clicking here. The broadcast will begin at 5:45 p.m. before a 6 p.m. first pitch.

The series finale occurs on Sun., Aug. 23 and will again be broadcast live across the Boulders Broadcast Network. A 1 p.m. scheduled start time, pre-game coverage will begin at 12:45 p.m. and will also be available on RocklandBoulders.com. Fans can also watch each of the five games in Quebec online for free at www.independentprofessionalbaseball.com.

Rockland currently sits two games ahead of New Jersey for the top spot in the Can-Am League standings with 13 games to play. Entering the series, the Boulders are also seven games ahead of Les Capitales and could clinch their first ever postseason appearance by winning four of five contests. This series marks the final road trip of the year for Rockland as they play nine games in eight days.

Following their five-game set at Quebec, they will travel to Trois-Rivieres for a three-game series before returning to Provident Bank Park on Fri., Aug. 29 against New Jersey. Rockland (48-35) is currently riding their longest win streak of the year, six in a row, and tied their single-season franchise record for wins on Wednesday. The 6-5 victory over Fargo-Moorhead also guaranteed the first .500 season in franchise history.
