Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
FARGO, N.D. - With the return of students to NDSU campus on Saturday, parking for all remaining Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks games will move for the remainder of the season starting on Saturday, August 23.
On Friday night, handicapped parking will move from the HR Lot across from the main gates to on-street parking on 15th Avenue North. This handicapped parking will remain in effect for the remainder of the 2014 season. Fans will still park in the HR and R lots across from the stadium for Friday's game. Parking will be $2.00.
There are major changes on Saturday night due to dorm move-in and the Katy Perry concert at the FARGODOME. With most campus lots full and over 20,000 fans expected at the FARGODOME, RedHawks fans are asked to park at T-Lot, which is located south of 12th Avenue North between 16th Street North and Bolley Drive.
Parking will be free in T-Lot, and shuttle busses will be available for fans who do not wish to walk. The shuttles will run starting at 5:00 p.m., and will return fans to T-Lot after the game from the main gates of Newman Outdoor Field.
For the Sunday, August 24 game and the games of August 26, 27, 28 and 29, free RedHawks parking will be at the FARGODOME (south and west lots). Shuttle bus service will be available for these games.
For the games over Labor Day Weekend (August 30, 31 and September 1), free parking will be available in the HR & R Lots, as well as the FARGODOME.
"Saturday night will be a perfect storm of events on the NDSU campus, with the dorm move-in, the Katy Perry concert and our game," said RedHawks General Manager Josh Buchholz. "We ask that RedHawks fans take time to get to the stadium and use T-Lot, keeping in mind there will be heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. There is also major construction on 19th Avenue North, so planning ahead is essential."
