All-Star 3B Mitch Nay Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, Lansing Lugnuts All-Star third baseman Mitch Nay has been promoted to the Dunedin Blue Jays (A-Advanced - Florida State League). In a corresponding move, infielder/outfielder Dickie Joe Thon has been reinstated from the 7-day Disabled List.

The 20-year-old Nay was selected 58th overall in the 2012 Draft, entering this season as Baseball America's #4 prospect in the Blue Jays' organization. A native of Chandler, AZ, he leads the Lugnuts in games played, at-bats, runs scored, base hits, doubles, RBIs and total bases. Nay played the entire Midwest League All-Star Game as the Eastern Division's starting third baseman, held on June 17th at West Michigan's Fifth Third Ballpark.
