Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Bragan Field at 7:05 p.m.

Right-handed starting pitcher Dustin Moseley has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to August 17, with a right shoulder strain. Moseley made five starts with Jacksonville, going 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA in his 28 innings on the mound.

In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Blake Logan has been transferred to Jacksonville from High-A Jupiter. Logan with the Hammerheads was 1-3 with a 3.45 ERA in 22 appearances and two starts. This is the third call-up to the Suns this season, working two scoreless appearances on July 4 and August 3 respectively. Logan also went 1-1 with a 5.93 ERA in 10 relief appearances earlier this year with Greensboro.

The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

The Suns and Blue Wahoos will be back at it on Wednesday, with first pitch set for 6:05 p.m. ET. The Suns will start left-hander Justin Nicolino (11-4, 2.85) while the Blue Wahoos will counter with right-hander Robert Stephenson (6-8, 4.48).

Suns fans can listen to Wednesday's game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through www.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 5:50 p.m. ET with the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show.
