James Nygren surrendered three runs (all earned) on four hits without walking a batter and striking out three Wahoos in 4.1 innings of work.

Jheyson Manzueta didn't allow a run over two hitless innings of work but did walk four batters along the way.

Collin Cargill retired the only batter he faced in his Tuesday outing.

Matt Ramsey allowed three runs (all earned) on four hits in his 1.2 innings, walking three batters and striking out two along the way.

Frankie Reed set down the lone Blue Wahoo he faced on Tuesday.

Pensacola opened up the scoring on Tuesday night with a pair of first inning runs. Kyle Waldrop (HR, 5) hit a two-run home run to right to give the Blue Wahoos a 2-0 lead after one half inning of play.

The Suns cut Pensacola's lead in half in the bottom of the third inning, using a two-out RBI triple from Austin Barnes to make it a 2-1 Blue Wahoos lead after three innings of play.

The Blue Wahoos got that run right back by scoring once in the top of the fourth. Bryson Smith's RBI single pushed the lead back to two for Pensacola as they led 3-1 after three and a half innings.

In the bottom of the inning, the Suns received a two-out RBI single from Terrence Dayleg to cut the Blue Wahoos' lead to 3-2 with four innings complete.

Pensacola went back to the longball to do their scoring in the top of the fifth, receiving solo home runs from Ben Lively (HR, 1) and the second of the game from Kyle Waldrop (HR, 6) to make it a 5-2 Wahoos lead.

Jacksonville drew a run closer on Joe Benson's RBI groundout in the bottom of the sixth inning, making it a 5-3 Pensacola lead with six innings in the books.

The Suns continued to chip away in the bottom of the eighth, with Terrence Dayleg's RBI double making it a 5-4 Pensacola lead with eight innings complete.

But Pensacola responded in a major way, grabbing three runs on a couple of homers in the top of the ninth. Yorman Rodriguez (HR, 7) led off the frame with a solo shot to right-center and Travis Mattair (HR, 12) added an opposite-field two-run blast to make it an 8-4 Blue Wahoos lead after eight and a half innings.

In the victory, the Blue Wahoos set a new franchise record with five home runs in a single ballgame.
