OF Adam Heisler Promoted from Class A Winston-Salem

The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that OF Adam Heisler has been promoted from Class A Winston-Salem. In a corresponding move, RHP Bryan Blough has been placed on the disabled list. Roster at 25.
Heisler, 26, appeared in 33 games with the Dash this season hitting .283 (32-for-126) with two home runs, 15 runs scored and nine RBI. He was signed by the White Sox as a free agent on August 3, 2011 out of the University of South Alabama. The Mobile native was originally drafted by St. Louis in the 2009 First-Year Player draft but did not sign.
In 2013, he hit a combined .273 (98-for-359) with 15 doubles, eight triples, five home runs, 47 RBI, 62 runs scored and 23 stolen bases over 101 games between Class A Kannapolis, Class A Winston-Salem and Class AAA Charlotte. He tied for second among White Sox farmhands in triples and ninth in stolen bases on the season.
