Jose Urena (W, 11-8) was nothing short of magnificent in his seven shutout innings, only giving up three hits and two walks while finishing with five strikeouts in his winning effort.

Reid Redman (SV, 1) collected his first Double-A save after allowing a lone hit in his two scoreless innings of relief, striking out two batters in his Sunday night outing.

Daniel Corcino (L, 10-11) took the tough-luck loss for Pensacola, surrendering a pair of runs (both earned) on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts in seven innings.

The game remained scoreless until Jacksonville broke the deadlock with one run in the bottom of the third. Austin Nola came all the way around from first base to score on Austin Barnes' opposite-field RBI double, putting the Suns ahead by a 1-0 score after three innings of play.

That 1-0 lead for Jacksonville held until the Suns added a run in the bottom of the seventh. Joe Benson scored on Ryan Rieger's pinch-hit RBI fielder's choice to make it a 2-0 Jacksonville lead in the bottom of the seventh.

Jacksonville furthered its lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth. A Viosergy Rosa RBI double and a two-out RBI single from Joe Benson made it a 4-0 Suns lead with eight innings in the books.

With the victory, Jose Urena is now tied for the Southern League lead with 11 wins on the year.

Brent Keys and Viosergy Rosa both had multi-hit games in Sunday's win.

The start of Sunday's game was delayed by one hour and nine minutes due to rain passing through the Jacksonville area.

The Suns and Blue Wahoos will be back at it on Monday, with first pitch set for 6:05 p.m. ET. The Suns will start right-hander Jay Rogers (6-5, 4.06) for game two of the series.
